Hajer believes in the promise of learning and technology for everyone to thrive. As a certified Instructional Designer (Canadian Association of Instructional Designers),  she has a passion for creating engaging learning and teaching solutions. Hajer has more than 20 years of experience designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating adapted training to diverse audiences such as teachers, researchers and persons with disabilities. Over the last 15 years, she worked as a part-time professor in different Canadian universities: University of MontrĂ©al, University of Sherbrooke, University of Ottawa and OCAD University. She is also an assistive technology specialist and a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).

Through her 15 years of experience researching and working with persons with cognitive disabilities, she learned that COMPLEXITY is the major obstacle to access knowledge. Fighting complexity via accessible knowledge mobilization and instructional design to harness the potential of research and evidence-based knowledge became her mission. That is why she started ArmaSense to help individuals, communities, and organizations mobilize their potential, harness knowledge, and target their communications in order to better understand and connect with their audiences to advance action.

Karin Sundin, Artistic Design Manager

Karin is a lifelong learner with 10 years of experience as an English as a Second Language Instructor. She holds a BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design with a Major in Studio, was a Graphic Designer for 7 years and worked as a Human Factors and Usability Specialist for a software company. Karin also has a keen interest in Web Development.

Every job she's had she works with her team to make operations run smoother and the process simpler. She takes satisfaction in a snarled problem becoming smooth and functional. She prefers to streamline the user process to increase usability for the whole team. Nothing is as frustrating as finding yourself lost in a website when you know it should be simpler to get things done. Solving problems is the most exciting part of designing infographics and coding for her. She finds making something work seamlessly very satisfying. Karin has the eye to create sleek and simple infographics that are used in knowledge mobilization.
